Today the entire Ukrainian people celebrates the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holodomor. The museum is the center of unforgetfulness millions of Ukrainians destroyed by the communist totalitarian regime. Our contribution to this event is the construction of the second stage of the museum. Despite the difficulties of today, work continues and visible changes occur every day.
The roof is being filled with soil substrate for planting, external communications are being laid, work on landscaping the courtyard of the existing museum is being completed, the installation of strengthening measures on the access road continues, and lighting poles are being installed at the central entrance of the memorial.
Some information about the new building: the total area of the second stage building is 15 thousand sq.m. The new museum will contain a main exhibition with an area of 3,600 sq.m., a space for temporary exhibitions with an area of 1,000 sq.m., a museum storage facility, a conference hall with 250 seats, a library, a cinema hall with 300 seats, educational spaces, a souvenir shop, and a unique elevator. in the context of inclusiveness and barrier-freeness.
