The first and most difficult stage of construction has been completed - strengthening of the slope. Difficult engineering and geological conditions of the site determined a number of measures aimed at preventing landslide processes. This is reinforcement with piles, construction of retaining walls and construction of an extensive drainage system for groundwater. From the very beginning of construction, geotechnical monitoring of the soil massif has been carried out by SIXENSE company using the Cyclops system, which makes real-time geodetic measurements on special optical mini-prisms (see photo).
Now work has begun on the construction of the aboveground part of the complex.
General view of the construction site.
Geodesy is our everything! Piles for the support of the pedestrian bridge. There will be an inclined elevator. And here is the same Cyclops system with optical miniprisms.
