The construction of the second stage of the Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide of the Ukrainian People is not only a construction project, but also a symbol of our persistent spirit and faith in the future. Despite all the difficulties, we continue to work and build, believing that the day will come when our museum will open its doors to everyone who honors, who wants to learn and remember the history of our people.
This project is of great importance not only for our people, but also for the whole world, as a reminder of tragedies that should never happen again. The museum will become a symbol of memory and sorrow for the victims of terrible pages of Ukrainian history.
What has changed since the end of last year. The bridge with access platforms and landscaping is completely completed, two glass elevators are waiting for their first visitors, the walls of the building are being lined with granite slabs, work began on glazing window openings and the entrance area, etc.
